The Gobi Arts & Science College Alumni Association was formed on 14.09.2006 and registered under theTamilnadu Societies Registration Act, 1975 (Sl.NO. 89/2009 dated 9/12/2009). All the outgoing students of the college are inducted into the Alumni Association. Annual Alumni Meets are conducted every year and large numbers of alumni eagerly take part in the meeting. In addition to the college level alumni meet, departmental meets are organised by the Alumni of various batches. The Alumni Association of GASC strives to promote and support all the events and activities of GASC Alumni to bridge the bond between the institution and its alumni. Various Events and Activities conducted by the Alumni Association incorporates:
- • Career Oriented Programmes, Webinars and FDPs during the pandemic situation in which the Alumni themselves actively take part as resource persons in educating and renovating new ideas to the students and faculty.
- • 382 WhatsApp groups were formed comprising the Principal, the Secretary, HODs, and Faculty Members of the department along with alumni. Alumnus posts regular updates about placement drives and career opportunities in the group, which are immediately passed to the students both directly and in student groups. They also assist the students in getting internship for the final year project.
- • In the academic year 2020-2021, manyof the GASC alumni members volunteered themselves in distributing food to the starving people during complete lockdown.
- • Magnanimously contribute to Alumni Association fund and extend financial support for needy students through scholarships.
- • Provide endowments for the benefits of economically poor and meritorious students.
- • Actively involve in the Board of studies and extend their valuable suggestions in curriculum framing according to the current trends.
- • Offer vast career openings to the students by teaching entrepreneurship skills.
- • Inculcate entrepreneurial skills in students.

ALUMNI CONTRIBUTIONS: 2020-2021
The success of the organization can be measured by the contribution of the Alumni members. GASC Alumni Association is blessed to have Alumni members with golden heart. Many Alumni willingly came forward and expressed their desire to contribute for IOT kit for the upliftment of Student’s knowledge. Alumni of MCA Batch (2002-2005) Mr.Dhanasekaran P, Mr.JabaSingh S, Mrs.Kohila N, Mrs.Malar Kodi, Mrs.Meenambigai D, Mr.Muthu Kumar A.S, Mr.Satheesh Kumar K.R, Mr.Sathish R, Mr.Senthil Kumar K, Mr.Shanmugam K, Mr.Siva Shankar M, Mr.Surendar R, Mrs.Thavamani S, Mrs.Vidhya C, and Mr. Arun Kumar- B.Sc.(CS) Batch (2007-2010), Mr. Senthil Prabhu - B.Sc.(CS) Batch (2007-2010) contributed funds to help in building the IOT lab. They came up with 14 Raspberry Pi-3B+/3B plus Motherboard combo and 14 Ultra kit for Raspberry Pi3 Model B and 2. Their generous gesture has greatly helped to enhance the college infrastructure to improve the students skill set.
B.Sc. (CS) Batch 1987-1990 Alumni in and around the world generously formed an endowment in the name B.Sc. (CS) 1987-1990 Batch and contributed Rs. 1,60,000 to initiate the endowment. The Alumni association donated Rs.25,000 as scholarship for 10 meritorious students of our institution. Mrs.Karthikayani Visalakshi - B.Sc. (CS) Batch (1986-1989) denoted Rs.10,000 and Mr. Saravanan Ganasan - B.Sc. (Maths) Batch (1998-2001), MCA Batch (2001-2004) donated Rs.10,000 as scholarship. Anandakumar memorial scholarship formed by 1994-1997 MCA Batch Alumni contributed Rs.51,000 as scholarship for the welfare of the students. Mr. Vikraman - B.Sc. (Physics) Batch (2004-2007) donated Rs. 24,628 through which 6 students from the Department of Physics (Aided) got benefited. In the academic year 2020-21, Rs.35,861 amount was distributed as scholarship to students from various endowments.

ALUMNI ACTIVITIES: 2020-2021
Our approach to food and its distribution reflects our basic moral value. Volunteers of Nambiyur Nanbargal Saranalayam, people with charitable motives and service heart, went further than just food distribution and created a support network for the needy people during the hard pandemic days. They distributed 6742 food packets from 12/05/2021 to 27/06/2021 to the economically poor and poverty stricken people in Nambiyur area. The main pillars behind the social cause are our reputed Alumni members Mr. Mayilsamy - B.Com Batch (1988-1991), Mr. Karthikeyan – B.Com Batch (1994-1997), Dr. N. Sakthivel, Associate Professor of Commerce (PA), Gobi Arts & Science college, Gobi - B.Com Batch (1991-1994), M.Com Batch (1994-1996).
Mrs. K. Akilandaswari - MCA Batch (2003-2006), Alumni faculties and Alumni members from Gobichettipalayam supported the starving people during the lock down days by distributing 70 food packets daily from 17/5/2021 to 26/6/2021. GASC Alumni volunteers Mr. A.Prasanth, B.Sc. (CS) Batch (2009-2012), Mr. N.Bharat Kumar Murugan, B.Sc. (CS) Batch (2009-2012), Mr. R. Sathiskumar, B.A. (Economics) Batch (2013-2016), Mr.A.Gokul Aravind, B.B.A. Batch (2016-2019), Mr.N.Janarthanan, B.Sc. (CT) Batch (2011-2014), Mr.S.Sarankumar, MCA Batch (2017-2020), Mr. Pavithran, B.Sc. (CS) Batch (2014-2017), and Mr. S.Vignesh, B.Com. (Unaided) Batch (2017-2020), dedicated themselves for this great cause. In addition, masks, gloves, water packets were also distributed.
Our honorable Alumni members acted as chief guests of honor in various online webinars, online carrier oriented programs, online soft skill development programs and placement oriented programs in various departments.
